Get the AllTrans application and install it on your Windows-powered machine if you want a tool that can perform conversions between coordinates using different mathematical representations and geodetic systems. The conversions or transformations can be performed by manually inputting or by importing data.

AllTrans can be installed on top of any Windows edition, from Windows 9x onward. To install the application, you must download a 33.7MB archive, extract the executable inside, and run it. A setup wizard will show up when you run said executable and will guide you through the installation process. It’s a simple process that will take little time to complete – it will require little effort as well.

The left hand side of the application’s interface is reserved for selecting the start coordinate system while the right hand side is reserved for the target coordinate system. There are many dropdown menus and numerous buttons, so there will be a learning curve. It should not take long for you to get accustomed to the interface though.

Use the AllTrans application to perform coordinate transformations between various coordinate systems. As mentioned above, you can perform conversions between coordinates using different mathematical representations and geodetic systems. You can perform transformations between Gauß-Krüger coordinates, UTM coordinates, geographical coordinates and 3D-Cartesian coordinates. Manually input the data or import it to perform the transformation.

The AllTrans demo comes with the following limitations: file transformation with maximum of 5 points, calculation of 7-parameters with maximum 5 identical points, only 1 user defined system.
